Editorial Policy

Welcome to ChicStyle Blog. My name is Zoey Mitchell, and even though this blog is my personal creative space, I treat the content I publish with real care. ChicStyle Blog isn’t a magazine or a major media outlet, but the women who read it deserve honesty, accuracy, and integrity in every post. This Editorial Policy outlines the standards I follow when creating content about fashion, outfits, hairstyles, nails, and beauty.

1. Honesty and Authenticity

Every post on ChicStyle Blog is written by me, in my own voice. I never publish content written by brands or third parties under my name. If I share an outfit idea, hairstyle, nail design, or beauty product recommendation, it’s because I genuinely tried it, tested it, researched it, or felt inspired by it.

I write the way I’d talk to a friend — honestly. If a trend isn’t worth the hype, I’ll say so. If a product disappointed me, I’ll either skip recommending it or explain why it didn’t work.

2. Accuracy and Fact-Checking

While ChicStyle Blog is a personal lifestyle blog, accuracy matters. When I share styling advice, beauty information, nail care tips, or trend reports, I make sure to cross-check sources and rely on credible references where applicable. If I ever make a mistake, I will update or correct it as soon as possible.

3. Reviews and Recommendations

When I review a product, brand, or service, the opinion you read is 100% mine. I don’t accept payment in exchange for positive reviews. If a brand sends me a product to try (a “PR sample”) or sponsors a post, this relationship will always be clearly disclosed inside the article.

A gifted product never guarantees coverage on the blog — I only feature what I genuinely think is worth your time and attention.

4. Sponsored Content and Affiliate Partnerships

ChicStyle Blog may occasionally feature sponsored posts and affiliate links. Whenever this happens, the partnership is clearly disclosed in line with FTC guidelines. While brand collaborations help support the time, energy, and resources behind running this blog, they never dictate the conclusions of my reviews or the direction of my content.

I only collaborate with brands that align with the values of ChicStyle Blog and the women who read it.

5. Visual Content and Imagery

Photography and imagery are a big part of telling style stories. Most images on ChicStyle Blog are either my own photography, properly licensed stock images, or images created or enhanced using AI and editing tools. Where appropriate, I credit external sources. If you believe an image has been used incorrectly or without proper credit, please reach out to me directly and I’ll address it promptly.

6. Editorial Independence

My voice belongs to me. No advertiser, brand, PR agency, or partner has the power to influence the editorial direction, tone, or honesty of ChicStyle Blog. Sponsorships and affiliate income help keep the blog running — but they will never compromise the trust I share with my readers.

7. Reader Trust and Community

The trust of the women who read ChicStyle Blog is everything to me. I want this blog to feel like a friendly, judgment-free space where you can explore style, beauty, and self-expression on your own terms. If anything ever feels off, inaccurate, or doesn’t meet the standards I describe here, I genuinely want to know.
